When I think of Nik, The first thing that comes to mind is the word BIG! Big bone, big head, big coat and big personality! It is hard not to smile when looking at this boy.
At only 9 months old, Nik's first time in the ring proved to be eventful when he attended The Golden Gate Akita Club Independent Specialties and won Winners Dog, Best Of Winners and Best Bred By Exhibitor in show on BOTH days for Back to Back 5 point MAJORS!
My feelings about Nik were correct…. At only his second set of shows and just 16 months old, Nik attended the 2012 Akita Club of America Pre-National in Indianapolis and won Winners Dog and Best Of Winners for his third consecutive 5 point MAJOR win! Finishing his championship exactly how his older brother Revel did the year before at the ACA Pre-National in Arizona!
Nik continued on throughout the week by becoming the 2012 Akita Club Of America's Grand Futurity Winner
under breeder-judge Mr. Reid Patterson and Best Opposite Sex Senior in
Sweepstakes under breeder-judge Mrs. Carol Foti!
Nik was handled to these wins at the Akita National by our dear friend,
Madelyn Goss. All of Nik's wins are from Akita Specialties!
Nik
attended the 2013 Akita Club of America Pre-National, National
and Regional Specialties in Denver, Colorado and was shown by
myself to the following wins:
Nik
started off 2014 with a bang receiving his second BISS title
at the Golden Gate Akita Club Specialty show under judge Mr.
Arley Hussin. The following weekend Nik won his first ALL
BREED BEST IN SHOW under judge Mr. Stephen Hubbell. We are
excited about Nik's future as he continues to mature!
Nik
is available at stud to approved bitches. Fresh chilled and
frozen semen is available. Nik does not carry the long coat
gene.
